- 2000 Foundation of Intech GmbH & Co. KG by Dr.-Ing. Hansjörg Vollmer. Focus: Development of radiant ceiling panels.
- 2006 Installation of the first rooftop solar system.
- 2009 Establishment of sister company Intech Clean Energy Inc. in Ontario, Canada, and first projects in Australia and the United Kingdom.
- 2013Lighthouse project with the German Energy Agency (dena RES Program): Development of an off-grid solar-powered water treatment system in India.
- 2015 Company handover to son Christoph Vollmer.
- 2016 Installation of the first Energy Container in Germany as a combined backup power and self-consumption system.
- 2017 Launch of the first generation of the Intech Floater.
- 2018 Lighthouse project with the dena RES Program: Energy Container for agriculture in France.
- 2022 Research project “Agri-PV Model Region” with Fraunhofer ISE and LTZ Augustenberg.
- 2023 Lighthouse project “Viticulture 4.0”: Viti-PV system at Blankenhornsberg Vineyard in collaboration with WBI Freiburg.
- 2024Production launch of the 6th generation Intech Floater.
