In Hennstedt, Schleswig-Holstein, two floating PV systems with a total output of 590 kWp were realised on the irrigation basins of an organic vegetable farm.
The challenge was to develop an anchoring solution optimised for varying water levels, as the basins are sometimes completely emptied.
The system is primarily used for self-consumption, while surplus electricity is fed into the public grid.
