In Wöhrden, two floating photovoltaic systems were installed on one fertiliser basin and one irrigation basin of an organic vegetable farm to generate electricity for the farm's own consumption.
The challenge was to develop an anchoring solution that is optimised for fluctuating fill levels, as the basins are sometimes completely flooded.
With a total output of 427 kWp, the system offers a sustainable way of generating energy without affecting the agricultural land.
