An Intech Energy Container supplies power from a 30 kWp solar photovoltaic plant and a 30 kWp combined heat and power motor to the public grid. In case of grid failure the Energy Container supplies uninterruptible power supply to the local red cross and fire brigade. The lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 30 kWh and can be charged through the PV-system as well as the CHP unit.
